Projected need to finish out the '17-'18 school and camp season:
$8,000$̶4̶8̶,̶0̶0̶0̶ |
Although we do charge tuition, the cost of running our programs exceeds the amount charged to the families of our students and campers. We try very hard to keep our programs affordable, which creates the need for people to partner with us on a monthly or regular basis. It is through these donations that we are able to run the program that will give us the best opportunities to reach the hearts of these young men.

Current sponsorship need for our '17-18 school and camp season:
$9,000$̶2̶9̶,̶0̶0̶0̶ |
Victory Family Ministries offers rescue programs for struggling families. This can be expensive. While we only charge a portion of what our programs cost, many families simply cannot afford it. Individuals and churches, who choose to give to our scholarship fund, allow us to be able to help offset the cost of tuition to families who need it most.

The Lodge Windows Project
Our lodge is the hub of activity at Victory Family Ministries. During the cold winter months up here in the North Woods of Wisconsin, the lodge is difficult to keep warm. One of the biggest factors is our outdated windows. They allow cold drafts to seep in. This is a project that we have been praying about and wanting to see accomplished for more than a decade!

Dump/Plow Truck
We have been blessed with two older pieces of machinery that have allowed us to move gravel and fill and plow our roads. But, as with all things, these important machines are nearing the end of their life. As we look at replacing them, we see great value in investing in one truck that can haul and plow. This cuts down on the price and the number of machines we have to service. This would be a smaller dump truck than what we currently have, which would give us greater access to our trail system. This is very important as we continue to develop our ATV and bike trails. Our current dump truck is simply too large for the task.
UPDATE: We have purchased a used 2009 Chevy 1-ton dump truck. It is in excellent condition and will serve us well for years to come. |

Dream Project: H2 Garage
Storage and protecting vehicles from the winter are two problems that we consistently face. Our second boys' home (H2) has been a project many years in the making. We praise God that we have the great privilege of using it for the past several years as our main housing for our students. Every year, we continue to finish projects around the house as money and time is made available. The next big project for the house will be the addition of a garage that will also serve as storage for the house staff.
UPDATE: We will be scheduling volunteer work groups to raise this building in the fall! Connect with Ben Barrick at ben.barrick@vafb.org for more information. |
