Did you know that in a perfect world people still work? Too many individuals live for the weekends and holidays because they don't like working. It's quite possible your son may be in trouble at school because of his poor work ethic. But it's important that Christians realize God loves work. He created it. He does it. And He sets the parameters for our work. For these reasons and more we teach our students the meaning and value of good hard work.
In addition to caring for his body, our students complete household chores and learn to apply themselves at school. They learn to cook meals as they builds relationships with the other guys and their Residence Manager in the kitchen. Saturdays are our work days. We stack wood for the burners, clean the campus, and tend to the vegetable garden as we teach our guys to be good stewards of the possessions God has given them. We even have a wood shop where the students can learn new skills and enjoy the fruits of their labor. This campus is so filled with men and women who are gifted in numerous skill-sets that your son will not lack for godly examples and fantastic learning opportunities. We also believe our work should profit others as we worship God with our sweat. This is why we adopted the highway near our property and spend some of our work days ministering to the elderly and disabled in our community.
